Work Experience
1988 – Present:
Kaleta Doolin is a feminist artist whose work includes studio and social practice. Interdisciplinary and multi-faceted, she utilizes a wide range of materials and media, from steel and scrap metal to bronze and aluminum casting, textiles, found objects, video, video art installation, photography, plastic resin and Plexiglas sheets, book art, and collage.
“In Dallas she is a major part of an intergenerational pattern of feminist artmaking, collecting and scholarship embraced by many institutions and far from being competitive, she relishes her ability to raise the level of what might in earlier generations have been called a sisterhood of changemakers."

Work Experience

Kaleta Doolin is a feminist artist whose work includes studio and social practice. Interdisciplinary and multi-faceted, she utilizes a wide range of materials and media, from steel and scrap metal to bronze and aluminum casting, textiles, found objects, video, video art installation, photography, plastic resin and Plexiglas sheets, book art, and collage.
“In Dallas she is a major part of an intergenerational pattern of feminist artmaking, collecting and scholarship embraced by many institutions and far from being competitive, she relishes her ability to raise the level of what might in earlier generations have been called a sisterhood of changemakers."
